I held an exciting event to share the findings of my Master thesis at McCann London on 8th February 2018. The event combined a presentation of my research with talks from other experts and activists in the area of gender diversity in advertising agencies. We heard from McCann Birmingham’s Head of Talent Management, Sufia Parker, who told us how she fosters inclusion in one of the most ethically diverse offices in McCann World Group. Then Ali Hanan, Founder of Creative Equals and Fabiana, UK President of She Says, told us what their organisations are doing to help women thrive in creative departments.
This event is of interest to anyone who is studying or teaching on a Higher Education creative advertising, art and design course. Agencies looking to improve the diversity of their creative talent will also find this event extremely valuable.
